We currently have a number of positions available as detailed below with attached Job Descriptions and Person Specifications.  Overall we are looking for individuals with the enthusiasm and tenacity to work in a challenging but highly rewarding environment as well as having the highest professional standards and a passion for excellence in support of our young people. 

 

Class Leader - English/Literacy

We are looking for an inspirational Class Leader with a specialism in English and Literacy. To be part of our team you need to be dynamic, resilient and passionate about equipping students with the skills and qualification that will open doors for them for the rest of their lives. Experience or qualification in Nurture Practice and/or SEN Teaching would be advantageous in addition to teaching across the age range with evidence of success in external qualifications. We offer excellent Key Stage 2, 3, and 4 provision for young people with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.

You may have experience of working with students who are SEMH or you may be looking for your first role in an SEN setting,  you must, however, be motivated to make a positive difference to our students’ learning journey and care deeply about their wellbeing and personal development.

The successful applicant will have experience of successfully working with students who have complex and diverse needs.  Enthusiasm and tenacity to work in a challenging but highly rewarding environment is essential as well as having the highest professional standards in your classroom practice and a passion for excellence in every interaction with young people.

 

Pay:  Main/Upper Scale + SEN2

 

Job Description - Closing Date Monday 11th June 

Teaching Assistant

Applicants must have GCSE or equivalent in English and Maths and previous experience in an SEN setting or similar is desirable.

 

Pay:  Grade 13 £17,772 - £20,138 per annum pro rata / Part time 32.5 hours per week term time only.

 

Job Description  -  Closing Date Friday 18 May 2018

 

 

Exams and Data Officer

Experience or qualification in exams or data management would be advantageous although opportunities for training will be made available to the successful applicant.  Applicants should be organised, methodical and flexible.

 

The ideal candidate must be consistent, organised and personable.  Previous administrative experience in a school setting and knowledge of SIMS are desirable as well as an enthusiastic, friendly, patient and determined approach. 

Pay:  Grade 13 £17,772 - £20,138 per annum pro rata / Part time 22.5 hours per week term time plus one week. 

 

Job Description  -  Closing Date Friday 18 May 2018

 

Administrative Officer (Premises, H&S and Communications)

Experience or qualification in premises administration or health and safety would be advantageous although opportunities for training will be made available to the successful applicant. 

 

The ideal candidate must be consistent, organised and personable.  Previous administrative experience in a school setting and knowledge of SIMS are desirable as well as an enthusiastic, friendly, patient and determined approach. 

 

Pay:  Grade 13 £17,772 - £20,138 per annum pro rata / Part time 37 hours per week term time only 

This position is to start in September 2018
