Each year we endeavour to take the boarding students away for an adventurous activity break. The purpose of this trip is to offer an experience with challenging activities to raise confidence and self-esteem. Due the hazardous nature of some of these activities we use professional providers who have competent experienced instructors to run and oversee these activities with the support of the care staff. A regular activity provider that we use is PGL. We have used a number of their centres including Chateau Du Tertre in France in 2012. Part of the French trip was also given our students the experience to visit the allied war cemeteries and D-Day land in beaches in Normandy.
